Managed a team of eight in house and offshore marketers, developers, analysts, and consultants performing daily enhancements and bug fixes on multiple, high performance business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) Magento websites and other enterprise level platforms. Directed IT infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance and liaised between Marketing and IT groups. Planned projects, estimated timelines, and managed budgets over $1M. Managed development teams in North America, South America & Asia.

Key Achievements:

  • Delivered on datacenter upgrades including SAN, ESXi hosts and networking. Updated to Adobe Commerce 2.4. Projects included simultaneous major upgrades to MySQL, PHP, Redis, Elasticsearch and more
  • Previously performed a major update to Magento 2.2 using in house resources and contract developers ($150K project). Launched in 2021 and the platform performed well. Complex product pages: TTFB 150ms, First Contentful Paint 492ms, Time to Interactive 1.6s, Fully Loaded Time 2.9s
  • Re built a third brand's E-commerce site from the ground up (Restaurant Discount Warehouse) with all new design leveraging existing integrations with SAP ERP and Salesforce via custom middleware. The customer experience and sales improved. Pick, Pack, Ship efficiencies increased 10X. The project was completed on time and under budget, thanks to improved processes and tracking via LiquidPlanner
  • Drove team to complete a nine month project to launch a new E-Commerce site for a totally new brand (Brandera). Juggled resources and maintained existing site while continually adding new features. Added over 10K SKUs and created an apparel customization engine written in house, from scratch, using Fabric.js
  • Recommended, designed, and oversaw a 12 month, $150K project to totally overhaul e-commerce software to Magento Enterprise v1.12
  • Completed a six month project to upgrade IBM WebSphere Commerce to version 7. Oversaw code migration, hardware upgrades, business logic, and end user testing. Fully migrated to 100% VMware vCenter environment. On site production environment consisted of HTTP Server, Application Server, Primary Database Server (IBM DB2) and Standby Database Server in HADR configuration
  • Oversaw $250K site migration to IBM WebSphere Commerce(v.6). Designed and implemented hardware stack for Dev, Test and Production. Implemented over 750 bug fixes and enhancements within the first four years
